Welcome To Community Support Network South London

Community Support Network South London (CSN) was formed in 1993, by a group of mental health service users in Lambeth, South London.

In 1996, it obtained funding for an advocate, who worked 28 hours a week at the local psychiatric hospitals. For 21-22 years it provided in-patient, community and forensic advocacy services. Advocacy exists to empower and enable service users to have more say in their treatment and care and to exercise their rights.

We are delighted to inform you that in April 2025, CSN was again (the award lasts for 3 years only) awarded the Quality Performance Mark (QPM) for Advocacy.

In 2025, following competitive tendering, Lambeth Council awarded the provision of all statutory advocacy services to VoiceAbility.

As all CSN staff were engaged in the provision of the Lambeth Advocacy Services, they were all found within scope to transfer to VoiceAbility under TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings for the Protection of Employment) and so CSN currently has no staff.
